This is the first piece of concept art that I've gotten permission to share with the public from my work on Damnation [link] The game should be on shelves next week but will be available for download on Steam this Friday (May 22, 2009).
When I came on board the project the studio had already been working on it for a few years so there were some roughly blocked out levels. Lots of boxes and shapes and some buildings. I was tasked with going through the maps and creating some mood paintings based off of what was there. This was the first time I'd ever done this before so it took time to get up to speed. Enjoy! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
